Driver qualification cards

From April 24 to order driver qualification cards possible only with pre-registration online  REGISTRATION

  • 1. How can I make an appointment for a visit?

    NOTE: Starting April 24, driver qualification cards are available for order exclusively through online pre-registration.

  • 2. Who are driver DQC cards issued to?

    The driver qualification card is issued to drivers who have the qualification of drivers of C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D1E, D, DE categories of motor vehicles, their combinations with trailers to transport goods or passengers for commercial purposes, if there is no possibility of a harmonized European Union code (95) recorded on the driving licence.

  • 3. In which countries are DQC valid?

    In the Member States of the European Union and the European Economic Area.

  • 4. What documents are required when applying for a DQC?
    • a valid identity document (a passport of a foreign national or an equivalent travel document intended for travel to a foreign country and recognised in the Republic of Lithuania)
    • a driving licence issued in a foreign country
    • an international driving permit if the national driving licence does not comply with the Geneva or Vienna Conventions
    • additionally, a photograph and a specimen signature will be required at the Regitra unit
    • Before ordering a driver qualification card, the driver must undergo professional training in Lithuania and obtain a corresponding certificate. Regitra receives data on completed training automatically, so there is no need to provide training documents separately
  • 5. How much does the DQC cost?

    The cost of a DQC depends on production time: 15 working days - 17,33 Eur, 5 working days - 34,66 Eur and 1 working days - 51,99 Eur. 

  • 6. How long does it take to produce a DQC card?

    The driver DQC is ready for delivery in 1, or 5, or 15 business days. 

  • 7. Where can I check information about ordering a driver DQC?
  • 8. Where can I collect my produced DQC?
    • At a postal self-service terminal 

    • By courier delivery to the address indicated 

    • At „Regitra“ branch 

     

    NOTE: if you choose production within one business day, the collection is only available at Regitra branch 

  • 9. Who can collect a produced DQC?
    • The customer himself
    • The person indicated by the customer by providing his/her identification document
    • A person authorized by the customer, providing a power of attorney or a document corresponding to it
    • Another person can collect the order on behalf of the customer, but they must provide their own identification document, along with customer’s full name and application or order number  
  • 10. How can representatives of companies make an appointment for a visit?

    Representatives of companies can register their employees by filling out the form available on Regitra website and submitting it via email vkk@regitra.lt
